Clipart

I got Photoshop for my birthday in November, and as I learn to use it certain tasks become easier. Such as creating clipart. As of tonight all the clipart I was working on is finally done and on-line:

Foster's Clipart

So that's all I got right now, there may be more later on.

Screengrabs? I remember those.

Yeah so, I haven't done any screengrabs in a long time, have I? Well, the new season has still not yet arrived, so instead I turned to the shorts - the ones I have copies of, anyways. Well...six of the eight I have. Anyways. You can find the new screengrabs on the Screengrab page (naturally).

Now, the Season One Foster's DVD comes out tomorrow, and I am going to hopefully get it. I'm a bit worried that I won't be able to find it, but I'll take a stab at it. I might not get it the first day, in which case I guess I'll have to order it. And once I do get it, I plan on re-capping the entire first season. It will take me a while and be a pain in the butt, but screengrabs are what this site was built on so I'm going to do it. If you have any favorites in the current season one screengrabs, go save them, because I don't guarantee that any of the current grabs are going to be included in the new set. The old ones will be dumped, not only from the site but also from my computer, to make room.

The Cafepress shop is open!

In an attempt to make a bit of extra scratch to support fosters-home.com, I have opened a Cafepress shop, here:

The main logo of Blinky the lightbulb was done for me by SynDuo. So far the other designs (all 2 of them) were done by me, but CG has promised me some, and I am allowing contributions from the entire forum memberbase should anyone care to make anything.

I'm Sorry

I'm sorry for all the delay in getting the Emancipation Complication screengrabs up, as well as for not doing much maintenance on the site in general, but I have a good reason!

Really!

With my birthday in a week, my brother bought me a new computer, a laptop, a little while ago...and it's been HELL ON EARTH getting it configured the way I want and getting the essential files I need transferred to it. I never had this much trouble with a desktop, so I dunno what's up. But I do hope it will all be worth it, as I could really use a laptop so I can travel etc.

Anyways on my old computer I was using the built-in video capture stuff (as it is a MediaCenter HP), and the screencaps on my site until now have been of the maximum size and quality that software would produce. But NOW I am using a Pinnacle card and software, and while it is more complicated to make do what I want (and sometimes it doesn't work at all :P ), the resulting screengrabs are far better, so I think it was worth the struggle.

Thing is, I was struggling SO much with Pinnacle tonight that I completely missed Make Believe It Or Not. -_- It appears it will be on again on Saturday afternoon so I'll try to get it then.

I don't want to be behind when Good Wilt Hunting airs. I may just have to abandon my Thanksgiving guests to go screencap it asap, after all!

A little update

I found some Foster's stuff on my harddrive tonight and was asked to put it online so I did. It necessitated me creating a Miscellaneous section though, as there was no other place to put it. Anyways they are three sound clips, from the now-defunct online adoption game fostersfriends.com. They were made by Teddog of my old forum. They're cute, I like them. :)

By the way, I *have* been working on the next batch of clipart, all of which was scanned from the Go, Goo, Go! storybook. All of it involves tediously cutting away the backgrounds around the characters, which is bad enough - but worst of all are the pictures with Goo in them. You know how her hair is like a bunch of scribbles? Yeah well imagine trying to cut a scribble away from its background. :P I'm going to be seeing Goo's hair in my sleep for weeks, now. And that blue thing that looks like a paper clip she has on one braid...augh! Anyways I'll have that all up, as soon as I have it done. Then I'll work on the coloring book (starring Cheese!).

8/18 Updates - New Section Up

I spent several hours scanning the House of Bloo's junior novellization this morning and now the pictures are up in the form of clipart:

I still have several other activity books to tackle but I thought we'd just start with this one. I just scanned these, I did not draw them, so I claim no ownership of these images. They are free for the taking (though of course as always, hotlinking is disabled).
